What is Gözaydin HSSE (Healty, Safety, Security, Environment) policy ?

The Board of Directors believes that protection of the natural environment in addition to the health and the safety of everybody working within the organization of the Company is an integral part of achieving success in business.
Our purpose is to reach at highest standards aimed at health and safety of human and work as well as protection of the environment. Our primary purpose is to prove our conformity with national and international standards by developing current company procedures. The next step that we plan to take is to raise our HSSE performance and HSSE awareness on this structure with the understanding of uninterrupted development. Achieving the targets that we have focused on is possible only in this way.
We know that some of the work that we carry out may cause damage to our employees, subcontractor companies that we make business, our visitors and natural environment. We are always aware of our obligation to determine such potential risks which may arise in advance as well as to prevent the same by taking suitable measures and have been continuing our studies related therewith for years.
However, the conditions change in the course of time and we also make revisions in our company’s organization, plans and activities as well as determine new targets in accordance with this change in order to ensure our continuity within this new picture.
HSSE management system of our Company explains us how the accidents can be prevented, risk evaluations and analysis can be made as well as a safe working environment can be ensured with a “Proactive” approach.

Pursuant to our HSSE Policy;

1. We consider HSSE issues as an integral part of the concept during production, development and marketing applications.

2. We try to develop products causing less damage to the environment as far as we can,

3. We always respect to laws, regulations and working authorizations in works that we carry out.

4. We aim at reducing injuries caused by occupational accidents, occupational disease risks and damages to the natural environment, using energy resources efficiently as well as minimizing the wastes.

5. In purchasing products and services, we evaluate the case not only in accordance with commercial and technical criterions but also by considering HSSE issues.

6. We always ensure uninterrupted information flow and training on the issues related with occupational safety, occupational disease and protection of natural environment.

7. We always cooperate with local administrations in order to plan the emergency cases which may arise.

8. We always develop our policy by reviewing the same regularly.

9. We pay importance to the training of our personnel since achieving the purposes of the policy is completely dependent on the capability of the personnel working for the organization.

2. Each employee is directly responsible for preventing injuries and diseases as well as protecting the environment.

3. Safety is the essence of the work. All of the employees are responsible for working in a safe manner.

4. HSSE trainings are the most important part of establishing an environment-friendly work atmosphere and safety.

5. It is constantly checked whether HSSE system is implemented in worksite.

6. Risks which may arise in connection with safety are determined immediately and the necessary corrections are made instantly.

7. All injuries, potential risks and unsafe situations are researched and reported carefully.

8. The most critical factor for the success of HSSE program is HUMAN.
